Volleyball Recap: Berry Takes a Loss

Berry was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the Sun Valley Spartans, falling 3-0.

Berry took the loss but they managed to make steady progress, increasing their score in every set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-19.

Berry's loss dropped their record down to 3-6. As for Sun Valley, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 2-6.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Berry is set to square off against their familiar foe Butler at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Sun Valley will challenge rival Providence at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The timing isn't great for the Spartans: they have been struggling with four straight losses at home, while the Panthers have snatched up three consecutive wins on the road.
