Basketball Recap: Columbia Takes a Loss

Columbia was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 71-41 loss at the hands of the University Phoenix. If the Cougars were looking for revenge after losing 75-44 to them when the teams met back in February of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Columbia's defeat dropped their record down to 8-11. As for University, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-5.

Looking ahead, Columbia will face off against Scotch Plains-Fanwood on Thursday. University has already played their next match (against Warren County Tech), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
