Basketball Game Preview: Fullington Academy Trojans vs. Windsor Academy Knights

Fullington Academy hasn't had much luck against Windsor Academy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Trojans will venture away from home to face off against the Knights at 7:30 p.m. Windsor Academy took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Fullington Academy, who comes in off a win.

Fullington Academy barely beat Southwest Georgia STEM Charter the last time the pair played, but that sure wasn't the case this time around. The Trojans blew past the Aggies 69-42 on Monday. That 27 point margin sets a new team best for the Trojans this season.

Garlan Godfrey had another great game (as he tends to do), dropping a double-double with 33 points and 12 rebounds. He also posted five blocks, which is notable because Fullington Academy is 2-1 when he posts at least three blocks, but 3-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was Aidan Hill, who dropped a double-double with ten points and 14 boards.

Fullington Academy was working as a unit and finished the game with 17 assists. They are 3-1 when they've passed the ball that well.

Meanwhile, Windsor Academy lost to Georgia Military College on the road by a 57-43 margin on Wednesday.

Windsor Academy now has a losing record of 4-5. As for Fullington Academy, with the win, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 5-6.

Fullington Academy might still be hurting after the 62-41 defeat they got from Windsor Academy when the teams last played back in January. Can the Trojans avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
