Basketball Recap: Bourgade Catholic Takes a Loss

Bourgade Catholic was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They were outmatched by the North Tampa Christian Academy Titans and fell 101-24. The game marked the Golden Eagles' lowest-scoring contest so far this season.

Bourgade Catholic's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for North Tampa Christian Academy, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 11-4 record this season.

Bourgade Catholic will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Gilbert Christian at 7:00 p.m. on January 8, 2025. North Tampa Christian Academy will also get a bit of a break before their next game: they'll face off against Zephyrhills Christian Academy at 7:30 p.m. on January 7, 2025.
