Soccer Recap: Hartsville Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Hartsville walked away with it. Their defense stepped up to hand the Crestwood Knights a 2-0 shutout on Tuesday. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 6-0 victory back in April.

Skylar Ford and Emma Thomas scored both of Hartsville's goals, bringing their combined season tally to 38 goals.

Hartsville pushed their record up to 16-5 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home. As for Crestwood, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 5-9.

Coming up, Hartsville will welcome May River at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. May River will roll in looking for their eighth straight victory, something Hartsville surely won't give up without a fight. Crestwood does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
