            The Wilcox RVT Wildcats will challenge the Bulkeley Bulldogs at 3:45  p.m.  on Thursday. Keep an eye on the score for this one:  the two teams posted some lofty  run totals in their previous games.
Wilcox RVT's pitching crew heads into the  matchup  hoping to repeat the dominance they displayed  on Wednesday. They blew past Wright Tech 12-0. The Wildcats might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won 13 games by six  runs or more this season.

 Chloe Enger made a big impact while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound,   keeping things locked down with   no  earned runs or hits while striking out 15 over six innings pitched. She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't  tossed less than nine  strikeouts any time she's  pitched this season. She was also big at the plate,  going 2-for-4 with four  RBI, two  runs,  and one  triple.
 In other batting news,  Ashley Stimpson was  incredible,  going a perfect 3-for-3 with four  runs and one  stolen base. She is  on a roll when it comes to  stolen bases, as she's  now  snagged  at least one in each of the last three games she's  played. Another player making a difference was  Gabby Velez, who  went 1-for-4 with one  home run and three  RBI.
Bulkeley couldn't beat Civic Leadership  on Wednesday even though they stacked seven runs on them in the fourth inning. The Bulldogs came up short against  the Eagles, falling  25-11.
 Bulkeley saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was  Arlianis Lopez, who  went 1-for-2 with four  stolen bases and three  runs.
 Wilcox RVT's win was  their eighth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 14-1. The  home  victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.6 runs on average over those games. As for Bulkeley, their defeat dropped their record down to 2-5.
Bulkeley's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them:  Wilcox RVT has been making plenty of contact this season,  having  averaged 11.6  hits per game.
