Soccer Recap: Vianney Takes a Loss

Vianney was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They were a single goal away from ending the streak, but they lost a 2-1 heartbreaker at the hands of the Oakville Tigers. While losing is never fun, Vianney can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Missouri soccer rankings (they are ranked 55th, while Oakville are ranked eighth).

Vianney's defeat dropped their record down to 4-10-2. As for Oakville, their victory bumped their record up to 13-3-1.

Coming up, Vianney will host Webster Groves at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Oakville, they will head out to face off against Parkway West at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
