Georgetown Day has gone a perfect 4-0 against Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Thursday. The Mighty Hoppers will face off against the Gators at 4:15 p.m. Georgetown Day is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 16.3 runs per game this season.

On Tuesday, Georgetown Day didn't have quite enough to beat St. Stephen's & St. Agnes and fell 10-9. The matchup marked the Mighty Hoppers' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Georgetown Day got a big performance out of Gracie Schuham-Anders, who scored two runs while going 2-for-4. Avery Snyder also deserves some recognition as she hit her first double of the season.

Meanwhile, Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart lost 14-3 to Elizabeth Seton back in March.

Having lost for the first time this season, Georgetown Day fell to 5-1. As for Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart, their defeat dropped their record down to 1-1.

Georgetown Day was able to grind out a solid win over Stone Ridge School of the Sacred Heart in their previous matchup back in April of 2019, winning 11-8. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Mighty Hoppers since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
