Keily Trabanino leads Olympus to victory over Taylorsville

Recap: Olympus Titans vs. Taylorsville Warriors

The Olympus Titans scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Tuesday. They took down Taylorsville 58-44. With that win, Olympus brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.

Keily Trabanino was her usual excellent self, scoring 20 points along with seven rebounds. Those seven rebounds set a new season-high mark for she. Another player making a difference was Chloe Bontempo, who scored ten points along with six rebounds.

Several Warriors players turned in solid performances, despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Marlee Reupena, who scored 12 points along with six assists and four steals. Reupena scored a full 27.3% of Taylorsville's points, the fourth time in a row she's earned more than a third of the team's points. Aysha Salami was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with 14 rebounds and three steals.

Olympus now has a winning record of 4-3. As for Taylorsville, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 4-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Olympus has the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Mountain Ridge at 5:15 p.m. on December 15th. Hopefully Mountain Ridge focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 11 on Saturday. Taylorsville will be home for the holidays to greet Brighton at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Brighton focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 last Friday.
