The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Rowland Hall in their matchups with Duchesne: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the defeat, Rowland Hall had strong showings from Luc Dowdle, who scored 16 points along with 7 rebounds, and Noah Bikhazi, who scored 15 points. Dowdle scored a full 29.1% of Rowland Hall's points, the third time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points. William Chin was another key contributor, scoring 4 points along with 10 rebounds and 5 blocks.
Rowland Hall's loss dropped their record down to 2-1. As for Duchesne, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Rowland Hall will square off against Wendover at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. As for Duchesne, they will head out on the road to face off against Kanab at 11:30 a.m. on Friday.
