Basketball Recap: Seminole Comes Up Short

Seminole lost against Okemah back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Seminole Chieftains were beaten by the Okemah Panthers 68-30. While losing is never fun, the Chieftains can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 402nd, while the Panthers are ranked 19th).

Seminole's loss dropped their record down to 1-11. As for Okemah, the victory keeps them at an undefeated 16-0.

Seminole didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 49-34 defeat against Prague on the 24th. As for Okemah, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 52-22 win against Chandler on the 24th.
