Volleyball Recap: Brookfield Takes a Loss

Brookfield lost against Pomperaug back in April, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bobcats lost 3-0 to the Panthers. The Bobcats have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

The final score came out to 25-16, 25-17, 25-13.

Pomperaug found their leader in sophomore Sawyer Rayno, who had ten digs and three assists.

Brookfield's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Pomperaug, the win (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 11-5.

Coming up, Brookfield will be playing at home against New Milford at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Bobcats are facing the Green Wave at the right time seeing as the Green Wave are stuck on a six-game losing streak. As for Pomperaug, they will head out on the road to take on Joel Barlow at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Falcons will roll in looking for their seventh straight victory, something the Panthers surely won't give up without a fight.
