Baseball Recap: Blair Takes a Loss

Blair lost against Norris two weeks ago, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Bears fell 6-2 to the Titans.

Blair saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brevin Leggott, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.

Blair has also been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-11 record this season. As for Norris, the win (which was their seventh in a row) raised their record to 13-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Blair will challenge rival Hastings at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Meanwhile, Norris is set to square off against their familiar foe Waverly at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. The two teams have allowed few runs on average (the Titans 3.5, the Vikings 3.4) so any runs scored will be well earned.
