Baseball Recap: Pinnacle Takes a Loss

Pinnacle lost against Red Mountain back in March of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Wednesday. The Pinnacle Pioneers lost 13-3 to the Red Mountain Mountain Lions.

Sam Green was cooking despite his team's loss, going 1-for-2 with two runs and one triple. That triple marked the first that he hit this season. Another player making a difference was Colin Follmer, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Pinnacle now has a losing record of 2-3-1. As for Red Mountain, the win (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 4-1.

Pinnacle wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next matchup, a 13-6 loss against Hamilton on the 6th. As for Red Mountain, they will host Desert Ridge at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
