Trenton is 9-1 against Roosevelt since April of 2018 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. The Trojans will welcome the Bears at 4:00 p.m. Having both just faced considerable losses, both teams are looking to turn things around.

Trenton is headed into Thursday's matchup looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their third straight game on Wednesday. They came up short against Woodhaven, falling 15-2.

Trenton saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Analy Guth, who went 1-for-2 with one run and one double.

Meanwhile, after some red-hot attacks at the plate in their last three games, Roosevelt finally came back down to earth on Wednesday. They lost 6-0 to Carlson. Surprisingly, this marked the Bears' fifth straight game in which the away team has come away the victor.

Trenton's loss dropped their record down to 12-6. As for Roosevelt, they moved to 16-8 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Fans could be in store for some top-tier slugging on Thursday. Trenton hasn't had any problems when it comes to power this season, having averaged 0.7 home runs per game. However, it's not like Roosevelt struggles in that department as they've been averaging 0.6 home runs. With so much power on both teams, it'll be down to the pitchers to keep the mound locked down.

Trenton was able to grind out a solid victory over Roosevelt in their previous matchup back in April, winning 5-2. Will the Trojans repeat their success, or do the Bears have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
