Baseball Game Preview: Franklin County Flyers vs. Garrard County Golden Lions

The Franklin County Flyers will venture away from home to challenge the Garrard County Golden Lions at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The last three games Franklin County has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

Franklin County is headed into the match having just suffered their closest defeat since April 18th on Monday. They fell just short of Great Crossing by a score of 4-2.

Meanwhile, Garrard County scored first but ultimately less than Boyle County in their game on Wednesday. They fell just short of the Rebels by a score of 3-2. The Golden Lions have struggled against the Rebels recently, as the game was their third consecutive lost meeting.

Garrard County's loss dropped their record down to 6-13. As for Franklin County, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last seven contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 8-18 record this season.

Franklin County skirted past Garrard County 5-4 when the teams last played back in March. Will the Flyers repeat their success, or do the Golden Lions have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
