It was a good run, but North Community unfortunately witnessed the end of their seven-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took an 81-68 hit to the loss column at the hands of Roosevelt/Heritage Academy. The loss was a bit of a surprise, as the Polars came into the contest with a sizable advantage in MaxPreps' Minnesota basketball rankings (they are ranked 75th, while Roosevelt/Heritage Academy are ranked 208th).

North Community's defeat dropped their record down to 16-8. As for Roosevelt/Heritage Academy, the victory was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-6.

North Community wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, an 81-68 loss against Roosevelt on the 26th. Roosevelt/Heritage Academy does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
