Basketball Recap: Pisgah Has No Trouble Against Park Place Christian Academy

The Pisgah Dragons strolled past the Park Place Christian Academy Crusaders with points to spare on Saturday, taking the game 61-42. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Dragons.

Luke Sanders was a one-man wrecking crew as he dropped a double-double with 19 points and 17 rebounds. Sanders is crushing it when it comes to points: he's scored at least 15 every time he's taken the court this season. The team also got some help courtesy of Zane Smith, who posted 19 points in addition to six boards and three steals.

Pisgah smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 26 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive boards they've posted since the start of last season.

Pisgah now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Park Place Christian Academy, they moved to 7-2 with that defeat, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Pisgah will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Pelahatchie at 7:30 p.m. on December 4. As for Park Place Christian Academy, they have already played their next game, a 43-40 victory against Canton Academy on the 24th.
