Volleyball Recap: Albany Triumphs

It was a proper cat-fight when Albany took on Galileo on Saturday. The Cougars won by a set and slipped past the Lions 2-1. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Cougars also won the last time the pair played back in April of 2024.

Albany is on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a massive bump to their 6-8 record this season. As for Galileo, they have been struggling recently as they've lost six of their last eight contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-7 record this season.

Albany will be playing at home against El Cerrito at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Galileo, they will venture away from home to challenge Burton at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
