Football Recap: Apple Valley Extends Winning Streak to Five

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Apple Valley had no problem doing just that on Friday. They walked away with a 28-20 win over the Victor Valley Jackrabbits. The victory was nothing new for the Sun Devils as they're now sitting on five straight.

Noah Hardeman was nothing short of spectacular: he rushed for 159 yards and two touchdowns while picking up 8.4 yards per carry. Those two rushing touchdowns gave him a new career-high.

Apple Valley's win bumped their record up to 8-4. As for Victor Valley, they dropped their record down to 6-6 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Looking ahead, Apple Valley will challenge Saugus at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games the Centurions have played have been within three points, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. Victor Valley does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
