On Tuesday CJ Mullen scored two runs and stole three bases while going 1-for-3, which was good enough to set a new career-high in stolen bases. As if that's not impressive enough, the matchup was his third in a row with one or more stolen bases. On the season, he has slashed 0.545/0.619/1.030 with 19 runs.

Mullen's strong effort led The Classical Academy over Sand Creek and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. The Titans are a perfect 10-0 against the Scorpions going back to May of 2021, a lead they'll look to extend.
