Woodside put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They claimed a resounding 83-55 win over the Kecoughtan Warriors. The Wolverines have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won five matchups by 28 points or more this season.

Kevin Dryden and Caleb Mathews certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. Dryden went 7 for 16 on his way to 19 points and seven rebounds, while Mathews went 6 of 14 on his way to 13 points. What's more, Mathews also racked up four rebounds, the most he's had since back in January of 2024.

Woodside pushed their record up to 9-0 with the victory, which was their sixth straight on the road dating back to last season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.3 points per game. As for Kecoughtan, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four games, which put a noticeable dent in their 6-4 record this season.

Woodside will be playing in front of their home fans against Warwick at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Woodside knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past nine contests -- so hopefully Warwick likes a good challenge. As for Kecoughtan, they will venture away from home to square off against Denbigh at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Kecoughtan is strutting in with some offensive muscle as they've averaged 61.3 points per game this season.
