Granite City kept up with O'Fallon until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Panthers' defense stepped up to hand the Warriors a 4-0 shutout. Considering O'Fallon have won four matchups by more than two goals this season, Thursday's blowout was nothing new.

They hit Granite City with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Allie Tredway (2), Claire Nieroda, and Lyla Twenhafel.

O'Fallon's victory was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 6-0. Those home wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 15 goals over those three games. As for Granite City, they now have a losing record of 2-3-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. O'Fallon will host Father McGivney Catholic at 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Granite City, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Union at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
