After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Davis, Copper Hills was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They breezed by the Cyprus Pirates at home to the tune of 41-14. The game was all but wrapped up at the end of the third, by which point the Grizzlies had established a 20 point advantage.
Maverick Bowles had a dynamite game for Copper Hills, throwing for 232 yards and three touchdowns, while also rushing for 69 yards and a touchdown on only five carries. The dominant performance gave him a new career- in rushing yards. A healthy portion of that aerial production (90 yards to be exact) went to Noah Haroldsen.
Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Copper Hills was moving up and down the field and finished the game with 455 total yards. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Cyprus only gained 214.
