After a string of five wins, Las Lomas's good fortune finally ran out on Saturday. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Carondelet Cougars. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Cougars this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 last Wednesday.

Las Lomas' defeat dropped their record down to 5-2. As for Carondelet, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-4 record this season.

Coincidentally, Las Lomas and Carondelet will both be playing Acalanes the next time they take the court. The Cougars will head out to face the Dons at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, while the Knights will head out to face them at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday.
