Dublin's loss was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 4-1 and their overall record down to 4-2. As for Academy for Classical Education, their defeat dropped their record down to an identical 4-2.

Academy for Classical Education took a serious blow against Dublin in their previous meeting back in October of 2024, falling 48-3. That contest was all but decided by halftime, at which point the Gryphons were down 35-3.
