Soccer Recap: Clarkston Takes a Loss

Clarkston lost against Pullman back in March, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Thursday. The Bantams took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Greyhounds. While losing is never fun, Clarkston can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Washington soccer rankings (they are ranked 216th, while Pullman are ranked ninth).

Clarkston has also traveled a rocky road recently, having lost eight of their last nine contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 3-9 record this season. As for Pullman, they pushed their record up to 14-0 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Clarkston is set to challenge their familiar foe East Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Pullman will face off against rival West Valley at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
