Soccer Game Preview: Clovis East vs. Buchanan

The Clovis East Timberwolves will head out to square off against the Buchanan Bears at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Neither team made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Buchanan will have to contend with a Clovis East squad hungry for a victory, something the team hasn't seen since January 4. Neither Clovis East nor Central could gain the upper hand on Friday so the two teams had to settle for a 0-0 draw.

Despite a strong season so far, Buchanan has seen their luck take a bit of a downturn recently. They lost 6-1 to Clovis North on Friday. The match was a 1-1 toss-up at halftime, but the Bears couldn't quite close it out.

Buchanan's defeat dropped their record down to 14-3-6. With that draw, Clovis East's record moves to 4-11-3.
