Bagdad won the last time they faced Desert Heights Prep and things went their way on Wednesday too. The Sultans never let the Yote get on the board and left with a 17-0 win. Considering the Sultans have won ten games by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Tatum Jeans made a big impact no matter where she played. She struck out seven batters over 3.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in five consecutive appearances. She was also big at the plate, scoring three runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all four of her plate appearances. The dominant performance also gave her a new career-high in doubles (two).
