Baseball Recap: St. Francis Fighting Saints vs. Denfeld Hunters
St. Francis put the finishing touches on their fourth blowout victory of the season on Tuesday. Everything went their way against the Denfeld Hunters as the St. Francis Fighting Saints made off with a 7-1 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for St. Francis.
St. Francis saw six different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Patton, who scored a run while going 2-for-4.
St. Francis' victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Denfeld, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
St. Francis will head out on the road to challenge Cloquet at 4:30 a.m. on Wednesday. The last three games Cloquet has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Denfeld, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Hibbing at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday.
