Baseball Recap: Hawthorne Hornets vs. Eastside Rams
Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Hawthorne). They were the clear victor by a 20-5 margin over the Eastside Rams on Wednesday. With that victory, the Hornets brought their scoring average up to 6.9 runs per game.
The team relied heavily on Ethan Thomas, who scored three runs and stole a base while going 3-for-3. The team also got some help courtesy of Branson Byrd, who scored three runs and stole Two bases. while getting on base in all three of his plate appearances.
