Football Recap: Bayshore Takes a Loss

Bayshore fell victim to Parrish Community and their airtight defense on Friday. They were beaten by the Bulls 40-0. The Bruins haven't had much luck with the Bulls recently, as the team has come up short the last four times they've met.

Jacoby Thomas was a one-man wrecking crew For Parrish Community. as he rushed for 104 yards and a pair of TDs, and also picked up 38 receiving yards. Another player making a difference was Brycen Volz, who threw for 152 yards and two touchdowns.

Bayshore's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Parrish Community, they pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Bayshore will welcome Pinellas Park at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Parrish Community, they are packing up and heading out on the road for their first away game of the season: they will face off against Palm Harbor University at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
