Football Recap: Bayshore Comes Up Short

After soaring to 36 points the game before, Bayshore was a bit more limited in their game on Friday. They were outmatched by the Parrish Community Bulls and fell 40-0. The loss continues a trend for the Bruins in their meetings with the Bulls: they've now lost four in a row.

Jacoby Thomas was nothing short of spectacular for Parrish Community: he rushed for 127 yards and a pair of scores on only 15 carries, and also picked up 38 receiving yards. The Bulls also got help from Brandon Trucano, who showed off his sure hands for 101 receiving yards.

Bayshore's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Parrish Community, they have started the season off flawlessly and has a 2-0 record to show for it.

Looking ahead, Bayshore will be playing in front of their home fans against Pinellas Park at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Parrish Community, they will head out to challenge Palm Harbor University at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
