Mascoutah extended their winning streak to three on Thursday, bumping their season record up to 18-7 in the process. They were the clear victors by an 11-2 margin over the Mater Dei Knights. The result was nothing new for the Indians, who have now won 14 games by six runs or more so far this season.

As for Mater Dei, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-15. The loss continues a trend for them in their meetings with Mascoutah: they've now lost seven in a row.

For Mater Dei's part, Avery Strader made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and went 2-for-3 with one stolen base, one run, and one double.

Coming up, Mascoutah will square off against Columbia at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. As for Mater Dei, they will take on Breese Central at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday.
