Volleyball Recap: Miamisburg Takes a Loss

Miamisburg was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their 16th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 3-0 to the Oakwood Lumberjacks. If the Vikings were looking for revenge after losing 3-0 to the Lumberjacks when the teams met back in September of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

While Miamisburg was not able to make it on the board, they still kept things close, especially in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-22, 25-14.

Aleeyah Hamilton paced Miamisburg's offense, picking up four kills. Hamilton got some help from Reagan Toole and her 12 assists.

Miamisburg's loss dropped their record down to 0-3. As for Oakwood, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-1.

Looking ahead, Miamisburg will challenge Beavercreek at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. This will be the Vikings' first chance to prove their worth in the conference. As for Oakwood, they will take on Milton-Union at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
