Basketball Recap: Scottsboro's Loss Ends Three-Game Winning Streak on the Road

Scottsboro has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell 57-47 to the Madison Academy Mustangs on Friday. The Wildcats were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in January of 2024.

Scottsboro's defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 18-5. As for Madison Academy, their win was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 25-3.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. A feisty cat fight is on tap when the Scottsboro Wildcats take on the Mars Hill Bible Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Madison Academy has already played their next game (against Oakwood Academy), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
