Basketball Recap: Western Brown Takes a Loss

Western Brown was the 56-51 winner over Eastern when they last played one another back in December of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Western Brown Broncos fell 62-54 to the Eastern Warriors on Friday. While losing is never fun, the Broncos can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 603rd, while the Warriors are ranked 247th).

Western Brown's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Eastern, they pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Western Brown has already played their next matchup, a 49-44 loss against Batavia on the 3rd. As for Eastern, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 69-60 win against Fayetteville-Perry on the 28th.
