Baseball Recap: Emerald Ridge's Win on Friday Extends Winning Streak to Four

It was a proper cat-fight when Emerald Ridge duked it out with Bonney Lake on Friday. The Jaguars came out on top against the Panthers by a score of 7-3. The Jaguars have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Panthers, too.

The win (which was Emerald Ridge's fourth in a row) raised their record to 7-6. The victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 7.5 runs over those games. As for Bonney Lake, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 4-8.

Coming up, Emerald Ridge will venture away from home to face off against South Kitsap at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Wolves will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Jaguars surely won't give up without a fight. As for Bonney Lake, they will be playing at home against Olympia at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Bears' pitching crew has only allowed 3.1 runs per game this season, so the Panthers' hitters will have their work cut out for them.
