Softball Game Preview: Jefferson Dragons vs. Middleton Tigers

Jefferson has gone 9-1 against Middleton recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. The Jefferson Dragons will face off against the Middleton Tigers at 7:00 p.m. Jefferson is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 9 runs per game this season.

Jefferson took a loss when they played away from home on Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Thursday. They put the hurt on Middleton with a sharp 17-2 victory. The high-scoring effort was just what the Dragons needed considering they were shutout in their previous match.

Isabella Fernandez was incredible, going 1-for-2 with three RBI, one triple, and one run. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Amaris Dominguez also deserves some recognition as she brought in her first RBI of the season.

Jefferson always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .769. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.

Middleton is on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3. As for Jefferson, the win got them back to even at 2-2.
