If Fort Davis wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Pecos, they should've done a better job of containing Fehaira Aguirre. The Eagles blew past the Indians 3-0 on Saturday for which the team can thank Aguirre, who had nine digs and three aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

Pecos never let Fort Davis on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-13, 25-22, 25-19.

Pecos' win bumped their record up to 4-18. As for Fort Davis, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Pecos will venture away from home to face off against Monahans at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup will give the Eagles their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Fort Davis, they will head out on the road to challenge Balmorhea at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
