Basketball Recap: Silver Bluff Find Success

Silver Bluff's tournament run continued when they took on Lake Marion on Monday. The Silver Bluff Bulldogs snuck past the Lake Marion Gators with a 64-58 victory. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Bulldogs.

It was another big night for Zyrell Williamson, who went 9 for 16 on his way to 25 points and five steals. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Lance Hieke Jr., who went 5 of 8 on his way to 14 points and three steals.

Despite the loss, Lake Marion still got an impressive performance from Mason Miles, who dropped a double-double on 19 points and 15 rebounds. Carl Capers was another key player, dropping a double-double on ten points and 12 rebounds.

Silver Bluff has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Lake Marion, their loss dropped their record down to 6-4.

Silver Bluff wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 51-43 win against Barnwell on the 4th. As for Lake Marion, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 50-38 victory against Timberland on the 3rd.
