Football Recap: Onondaga Starts Season with Defeat on the Road

Onondaga had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell just short of the Port Byron Panthers by a score of 20-18. The Tigers were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Panthers apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Onondaga will challenge Herkimer at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Port Byron, they are headed away from home for the first time to challenge Altmar-Parish-Williamstown at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
