While losing is never fun, Southern Alamance can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' North Carolina soccer rankings (they are ranked 455th, while Williams are ranked 128th).

Meanwhile, Graham can bid farewell to their four-match losing streak thanks to their match on Wednesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Person 1-0. The score was all tied up 0-0 at the break, but Graham were the better team in the second half.

Southern Alamance's loss dropped their record down to 3-15. As for Graham, they now have a winning record of 9-8-1.
