Basketball Recap: Global Studies Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Global Studies had to endure a five-game losing streak dating back to last season, but that streak is no more. They managed a 43-37 win over Eagle Academy on Monday.

The victory got Global Studies back to even at 1-1. As for Eagle Academy, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 1-3.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Global Studies is headed away from home for the first time to face off against Dayton at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday. As for Eagle Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Weequahic at 7:00 p.m. on January 9, 2025.
