Basketball Recap: Randallstown Rams vs. Woodlawn Warriors

This season hasn't been kind to the Randallstown Rams, who are still winless after their tenth matchup. They took a hard 64-45 fall against Woodlawn on Friday. If Randallstown was looking for revenge after losing 59-20 to them when the teams met, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Woodlawn's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Naziya Williams led the charge by scoring 17 points along with three steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Williams has scored all season. Jordan Harding was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with three steals.

Randallstown's loss was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 0-10. That rough patch could be blamed on the team's offensive performance across that stretch, as they only averaged 20.0 points per game. As for Woodlawn, their win bumped their record up to 6-8.

Randallstown will look to defend their home court on Monday against the Golden Eagles at 4:00 p.m. Owings Mills has now lost seven straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since December 20. As for Woodlawn, they will head out on the road to face off against the Knights at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday. Parkville comes in on a streak of failing to score more than 23 points in their last three games, a trend the squad is of course eager to reverse.
