Volleyball Recap: Summit Shasta Comes Up Short

Summit Shasta lost against Monta Vista back in September of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Black Bears fell just short of the Matadors by a score of 2-1. The Black Bears have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Summit Shasta's loss dropped their record down to 9-5. As for Monta Vista, they are on a roll lately: they've won five of their last six games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-2 record this season.

Summit Shasta will head out to challenge The Nueva School at 5:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Monta Vista, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next contest, a 3-0 defeat against Los Gatos on the 15th.
