Softball Recap: St. Amant Wins High-Profile Matchup Against Walker

St. Amant faced Walker in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Tuesday. The Gators had just enough and edged out the Wildcats 6-4. The win continues a trend for the Gators in their matchups with the Wildcats: they've now won nine in a row.

EMMALEIGH THERIOT looked comfortable as she pitched three innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. She has been consistent : she hasn't given up more than two walks in six consecutive appearances.

St. Amant's victory bumped their record up to 18-6. As for Walker, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 16-6.
