O'Fallon is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another highly-ranked state team: Nerinx Hall, who was ranked 17th in their home state at the time (O'Fallon was ranked third). The Panthers never let the Markers get on the board and left with a 4-0 victory on Saturday. The contest was close at halftime, but O'Fallon turned on the heat in the second half with three goals.

They hit Nerinx Hall with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Claire Nieroda, Delaney Nieroda, Sadie Mueller, and Allie Tredway.

Meanwhile, Belleville East waltzed into their matchup on Friday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They blew past the Wildcats 7-0. Give Belleville East's defense some credit: that's the team's third straight shutout.

Belleville East pushed their record up to 10-8-1 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored 28 goals over those six games. As for O'Fallon, their win bumped their record up to 13-1-1.
