Baseball Game Preview: Browne Bruins vs. Cesar Chavez Champions

The Browne Bruins will take on the Cesar Chavez Champions at 3:45 p.m. on Monday. Browne is coming into the contest hot, having won their last six games.

On Thursday, Browne made easy work of Maryvale and carried off a 10-1 victory. The result was nothing new for the Bruins, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Jose Gonzalez looked comfortable as he pitched 2.2 innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit.

On the hitting side, the team relied heavily on Axel Inzunza, who went 3-for-4 with three runs, two RBI, and one double. Leonardo Estrada was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two runs, one stolen base, and one RBI.

Browne kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in three consecutive games.

Meanwhile, Cesar Chavez earned a 7-3 win over Millennium on Thursday.

Cesar Chavez's victory bumped their record up to 13-9. As for Browne, their win bumped their record up to 9-4.

Browne came up short against Cesar Chavez in their previous matchup back in April of 2025, falling 9-4. Can the Bruins avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
