Northglenn hadn't done well against Brighton recently (they were 0-9 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Thursday. The Northglenn Norsemen walked away with a 51-40 victory over the Brighton Bulldogs. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Norsemen.

When it comes to explaining why Brighton lost, don't look at Haleyanna Martin. Despite the final result, she went 9 of 21 on her way to 21 points in addition to seven rebounds and three steals. Martin is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. Amy Daines was another key player, putting up four points along with six boards and five blocks.

Northglenn's win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 6-7. As for Brighton, their loss was their 17th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 2-12.

Northglenn wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 55-51 defeat against Mountain Range on the 25th. Brighton has also already played their next game, a 47-23 loss against D'Evelyn on the 25th.
